We will be gathering for worship this Sunday, April 5th, at 10:00. We will be on a Zoom conference call again this week. Follow this link to join the call: https://zoom.us/j/444725404 .
If you are new to Zoom, there are several good resources online to help you get acquainted with the program, including this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMUxzrgZvZQ . As we gather on Sunday, please have a Bible handy if you would like to follow along with the scripture readings. Also, we are celebrating communion together this Sunday, so please have your own bread and grape juice/wine ready. It will be a new experience for us all celebrating communion on Zoom, but new times call for new ways of being together. One other thing you might want to have are palm branches. This week is Palm Sunday. If you have branches available, feel free to display them on the Zoom call. Some of us are talking about being crafty and making some. Godly Play will be recorded and posted again this week on the church’s facebook page.
The worship committee at the church is busy planning a worship experience for Easter morning. It looks like we will not be able to meet in person that morning at the church, so we will gather again online. Please plan on joining us! Each Sunday we celebrate the resurrection of Christ and the new life we live. When we are able to join together again in person, it will be a celebration of new life indeed! We look forward to worshiping with you at that time and celebrating Easter with you online. Our church usually does an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids on Easter morning. Because this is not an option this year, we will be putting together Easter care packages for our children. If you have kids who would want a care package or know of kids who would want one, please let Michelle Cottrell know as soon as possible. mlcottrell@outlook.com
