We have several worship and fellowship events coming up to celebrate the incarnation at Jesus’s birth, also known as Christmas!!!
- Gifts for Kids: We will be celebrating another amazing year participating in the Gifts for Kids program at 11:00 this Sunday, the 22nd. Please join us in this fun celebration.
- Gingerbread houses: After the Gifts for Kids celebration everyone is invited to join us in making gingerbread houses. The kids love this experience, but it is not just for kids! This will take place at the church around 12:00 on the 22nd.
- Movie date: We are going to the movies!!! Each winter, usually around New Year’s, our church family joins together for a movie at the Newport Cinema. This year we are going a little early. We will be going to a matinee of Frozen 2 at 2:00. All are welcome to join us for this fellowship gathering!
- Christmas Eve: We will gather for worship at 5:00 on December 24th to celebrate the incarnation. This service will include a community pageant, lessons and carols, and end with candlelight. Any kids who would like to be in the pageant should be at the church by 4:00. We will have hot drinks available for the adults to enjoy together while the kids are getting ready for the pageant.
- Christmastide worship: There are two Sundays in Christmastide, this year they are the 29th of Dec and the 5th of Jan. Both of these Sundays will be joyous celebrations including many traditional Christmas songs. All are welcome at 10:00 am.
